Introduction

I am an interdisciplinary DAI major whose primary interest is game design, although secondary interests include watching Japanimation and athletic contests, reading manga and nonfiction (particularly philosophy), collecting digital art, listening to (and occasionally composing) music, and writing.

I am inspired by the flaws and imperfections of humanity; that said, nothing ever has nor will ever "wow" me, simply because I expect nothing from anybody and thus am never surprised by the things people do, nor am I able to appreciate beauty such in a way that I find it amazing.

My human influences include Richard Feynman, Yoshinori Kitase and Ryuichi Sakamoto; other influences include The Republic, Wangan Midnight, Harlem Beat, Ishmael and My Ishmael.

My only ambition in life is to be the lead designer of a critically successful video game; aside from this, I'd be content with a simply life.

While it is said that "a picture is worth a thousand words", I much prefer words to images, simply because words can be analyzed for a their linguistic and semantic meanings, whereas, with images, it is often difficult to clearly analyze its intent. If you must have one, then consider the text of this blog entry as it; after all, it is an image, if only not in the common format.

If I could be boiled down to simply six words, then I would no longer be a person, but merely a linguistic quirk. That said, if I were forced to do so, the words I feel would best suit me are "calculating", "curmudgeonly", "mercurial", "methodical", "pragmatic", and "sardonic ".
